Course Description

Extracorporeal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (ECPR) offers a rescue pathway for carefully selected patients in refractory cardiac arrest. This workshop walks participants through the evidence base, indications, and time-critical principles behind ECPR, patient-selection criteria and clinical context, then moves into simulated VA femoral–femoral ECMO cannulation, early post-ECPR management, and a practical framework for building an ECPR program at their own institution.
