Course Description
Point-of-care ultrasound has become an essential extension of the physical exam in modern emergency medicine. This full-day, hands-on workshop introduces physicians, residents, and trainees to the foundational scanning skills needed to integrate ultrasound into rapid bedside decision-making — from confirming a diagnosis in seconds to guiding life-saving procedures. Participants rotate through five practical stations under the direct supervision of certified POCUS instructors, scanning on real machines and live models.

Certified Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) Course Instructor & Coordinator, and PALS Course Instructor & Training Center Faculty. Previously Director of the Development and Quality Directorate at SQUH, UMC.
